The two times they had to play good teams they got crushed by USC and Michigan. So, why does Notre Dame get a BCS bowl game. it’s real simple money.
The BCS doesn’t reward teams for playing tough schedules or habving a good season they know that Notre Dame brings a large following and the game will be televised Nationally and the Bowl game will make alot of money. This isn’t about finding the National Championship or rewarding kids for a great season it’s all about lining the pocketbooks. if you think it isn’t you better guess again.
