Curt Schilling was sent back to Boston to get an MRI on his right shoulder. This is a concern for the Red Sox. If he has to go on the disabled list that would give the Yankees a chance to catch up. They are already red hot! Curt is a key part to their rotation, which includes Daisuke Matsuzaka, Curt Schilling, Tim Wakefield, Josh Beckett, and Julian Taverez. Terry Francona, their manager, said that the ball was not releasing right. He said it came out of his hand the wrong way every time. Hopefully he is not hurt too bad and he will be pitching again soon. Once he returns to his old self the Red Sox should be great again. (They still are.)

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have a red balance sheet to show for a winning 2007 season.
The club revealed its 2007 financial picture Thursday and blamed much of its $264,000 net loss on the team’s aging stadium.
“Competitive success, success on the field in the CFL, doesn’t always translate into success financially,” Bombers board chairman Ken Hildahl told a news conference.
Hildahl agreed the team had a great year on the field, with five straight sold-out games at home, star slotback Milt Stegall breaking the all-time touchdown record, and a spot in the Grey Cup final.

I wish people would make up their mind about Barry Bonds trainer. It seems every other week he’s either in jail or out of jail. The story is starting to get old and I’m sure Greg Anderson is tired of being a yo-yo too. I think if Anderson knew all he was going through he would been better off to just testify.
It would not surprise me after Barry Bonds retires Greg Anderson writes a book about what he knows, because then It won’t matter because Bonds will be out of baseball.
