SubscribeScott Stevens has always been know as a tough guy on the ice, but last night he showed his softer side as the New Jersey Devils retired his number 4 jersey and became the first New Jersey Devil to have that honor. Stevens play on three Stanley Cup championship teams and help get the New Jersey Devils respect throughout the league again.
Many former players send videos and the devils gave him a pickup truck and a vintage bow and arrow as Stevens is an avid hunter. The crowd gave Stevens many standing ovations including a three minute non-stop one when he was introduced. He will be missed by the NHL family and all the Devils fans.
